SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
We believe in the ancient practice of dwelling on God's Word — pondering it, turning it over in the mind and heart, letting it shape how you see everything. "On his law he meditates day and night" (Psalm 1:2). Our games are designed to facilitate that: to keep you thinking about Scripture, its characters, and its truth long after the game ends. Play is not a break from meditation — it can be a form of it.

Discipleship doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes, it starts with a game and a conversation. We believe that faith-based play can shape hearts, open doors for parents to teach truth, and help children fall in love with Scripture. Every roll of the die, every card played, every moment of laughter — can become a seed of discipleship. "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way." — Deuteronomy 6:7.

A portion of every game sold supports global pastoral training through The Master's Academy International — strengthening churches and training leaders in places where biblical resources are scarce.
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
Games are a fun part of life. But life itself is not a game.
At Doxa, our games are designed with themes that come from the Bible. That is because the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible tells us who God is and what He requires, since He is our Creator and our Judge.
The Bible teaches that all human beings are sinners, meaning that we have all broken God’s law and deserve His judgment. Sinners are unable to save themselves. But God, out of His mercy, sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a perfect life and then died on the cross to pay sin’s penalty. His sacrifice covers all who believe in Him, so that they are forgiven and pardoned by God. On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead, proving that He conquered death and offers eternal life to all who trust in Him.

MARCO BARTHOLOMAE — FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Marco is the founder of Doxa Games and the driving creative force behind each game. With a background in ministry leadership and a lifelong love for games, he created Doxa Games to bring those two worlds together — not as a side project, but as a full calling.
Marco's heart for discipleship shaped the mission: to create games that don't just entertain, but genuinely disciple — tools that parents, pastors, and teachers can use to bring Scripture to life in the everyday moments that matter most. He believes in the power of the table as a place of formation, laughter, and faith.
He lives in Sun Valley, CA with his family.
