Life as a follower of Jesus is a journey — one marked by both trials and triumphs. Like the first disciples who walked with the Lord, we experience moments of joy, growth, struggle, and even failure. Yet through it all, we are never alone.
WHY TRIALS & TRIUMPHS
Trials & Triumphs brings the Christian journey to life through play. Every part of the game points to a deeper truth. The Grapevines remind us that true growth comes from abiding in Christ — the Vine (John 15:5). The Cracked Paths reflect the reality of trials that humble us and redirect our steps.
As players move along the path, the game becomes more than progress; it becomes a picture. Sometimes we are lifted forward. Sometimes we fall back. Yet through every moment, God is at work. This is not just a race to the finish. It is a reminder that the Christian life is shaped by grace, guided by truth, and sustained by Christ. Every journey leads to Jesus Christ, the One who brings His people safely home.
"Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
— James 1:12
THE STORY BEHIND THE GAME
Life as a follower of Jesus is a journey — one marked by both trials and triumphs. Like the first disciples who walked with the Lord, we experience moments of joy, growth, struggle, and even failure. Yet through it all, we are never alone.
The apostles did not point to themselves, but to Christ. Their lives remind us that the path of faith is not about perfection, but about trusting the One who leads us.
At times, the journey feels steady, and we grow as we abide in Him: "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." — John 15:5
At other times, we stumble. Trials come, and we are tempted to lose our way. But even then, God remains faithful: "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful…" — 1 Corinthians 10:13
When the path grows dark, His Word lights the way forward: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105
Our hope is not in our strength, but in Christ Himself — the One who has gone before us: "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith…" — Hebrews 12:2
This game is more than a race to the finish. It is a reminder of a greater truth: Christ is faithful. He lifts us in triumphs, carries us through trials, and leads us safely home. — Romans 12:12
